Passion. Tradition. Modernity.

From the heart of the region, we revive traditional flavours — because the best beers are born from authenticity!

Our story — born from a passion for tradition

The story of Mazurski Browar is a tale of returning to one’s roots and a love for regional craftsmanship. We started with a dream of restoring the former glory of brewing in Masuria — a land where, before World War I, many breweries thrived. We wanted to revive forgotten flavours and bring them into the present day.
With determination and passion, in just nine months, we managed to create a modern brewery in Ełk. From the very beginning we’ve relied on traditional brewing methods, using only natural ingredients: fine hops, crystal-clear water, carefully selected grains, malt and yeast. It’s these elements, combined with a craft approach, that allow us to create beers with a one-of-a-kind character.
Today, Mazurski Browar is something more than beer production. It’s a mission to build a recognisable brand across Poland — one rooted in authenticity, quality and a deep respect for the region’s heritage. Every bottle is a piece of Masuria’s history, which we proudly share with you!

The technology of brewing Masurian beer

At Mazurski Browar, the brewing process is a carefully refined cycle that guarantees the highest quality and an exceptional taste.

Sourcing the ingredients

It all starts with selecting the finest ingredients, which arrive at our brewery.

Milling the malt

The malt is precisely milled to release its valuable properties.

Mashing

The milled malt is combined with water, starting the mashing process — key to the beer’s flavour.

Lautering and sparging the wort

After mashing comes lautering, separating the liquid wort from the spent grain.

Boiling the wort with hops

The wort is then boiled with the addition of hops, which give the beer its characteristic bitterness and aroma.

Filtering and cooling the wort

The brewed wort is filtered again and then rapidly cooled.

Fermentation and maturation

The cooled wort goes into fermentation tanks, where yeast converts sugars into alcohol. After fermentation, the beer matures, developing and gaining its full flavour.

Bottling

The final stage is bottling or kegging the finished beer, from where it goes straight into your hands.
